Berger 6.5mm 153.5gr Long Range Hybrid Target bullets are advanced match-grade target bullets designed for long-range shooting, PRS, F-Class, NRL, and precision reloading in 6.5 mm cartridges. This model belongs to Berger’s Long Range Hybrid Target, LRHT series, developed for high BC, very low ballistic variation, and consistent flight at 1000 yards and beyond.

The bullet uses Berger’s LR Hybrid Ogive profile, which combines tangent and secant ogive geometry. In practice, this provides excellent aerodynamic efficiency while making the bullet more tolerant of seating-depth variations than traditional VLD-style bullets. Berger describes this model as jump-tolerant, meaning it is more forgiving of bullet jump to the rifling.

The 153.5gr LRHT features Meplat Reduction Technology, MRT. This is a controlled tip-forming process designed to create a more uniform and repeatable bullet nose profile. According to Berger, this bullet is Doppler radar verified, with BC variation below 1%, which is especially important for precision shooting at extended distances.

The bullet weighs 153.5 grains, has a diameter of .264" / 6.5 mm, and offers a very high ballistic coefficient: G1 BC 0.694 and G7 BC 0.356. The minimum recommended twist rate is 1:8" or faster. The official Berger part numbers are 26486 for the 100-piece box and 26786 for the 500-piece box.

J4 Target Jacket provides excellent jacket concentricity. Berger specifies a tolerance of +/- .0003" TIR, helping reduce dispersion and improve downrange consistency.
