Overview
The Berger 175-grain Long Range Boat-Tail Target is a .308″ match projectile designed for Palma, F-Class and other long-range disciplines out to (and beyond) 1 000 yd. A tangent ogive simplifies seating-depth tuning and delivers full stability in barrels with a 1-in-13″ twist or faster. With ballistic coefficients of G1 BC 0.512 / G7 BC 0.262, the bullet flies flat and resists wind through the trans-sonic zone, yet its 1.314″ overall length still fits standard .308 Win magazine length. Berger’s ultra-concentric J4® Precision Jacket (runout ≤ ±0.0003″) eliminates the need for weight sorting and keeps groups sub-MOA at match distances.
