In the realm of handloading, enthusiasts often discuss the concept of "accuracy nodes," which delineates the range of powder charges that consistently yield precise shots. While some calibers boast narrow accuracy nodes or infrequent occurrence of these nodes, the 6.5x47 Lapua distinguishes itself with a multitude of accuracy nodes spanning a wide spectrum. Remarkably, there are accounts of shooters putting over 3,000 rounds through a single barrel of the 6.5x47 Lapua, yet still achieving sub-MOA accuracy at 1,000 yards with the same load, despite significant throat wear.
